Christmas Break

I'm slowing down to re-group over the next week or two. I had wanted to get a few Christmas fuzzes out before Christmas but once again this year they may be after-Christmas Christmas fuzzes. I say that in the plural, but last year only one Christmas Fuzz was made, so the owner of that has a unique piece. Once again thanks to everyone who has ordered my fuzzes and who I have met via online communication.

Grousing and Excuses

Being mostly a one-person operation and doing this part-time, I cycle between a number of roles, unfortunately (or fortunately) it's not just building fuzzes, it's development, design, quality assurance, marketing, accounting, customer care, video production and being a reluctant YouTuber etc. etc. like any modern micro business I suppose. I enjoy this endeavor and doing the variations but doing it this way but it does slow things down compared to if I made one product the same way over and over and stuck to it. I do believe in vertical integration so I pay the price in time for that. The up-side is that customers are getting limited production builder-direct (for online direct customers) products made totally in one place by hand, not outsourced and drop shipped and imported and re-branded. If the potential customer doesn't feel that adds value, there are tons of other fuzzes on Amazon and eBay to choose from real cheap.

Germanium is GO

We now have the germanium Fizz Fuzzes out there for sale, the development of those took quite a while, sorting and selecting transistors. I think they are a good value and I hope you would agree. There are demos on my YouTube channel

"My Knob Choice" program

Where is the Creator?

The Creator will be coming up for sale as soon as a complete demo video is done. I have a half-dozen Creators in the works and then I think I'm going to concentrate on the Fizz Fuzz Deluxe with external power and a tone switch. The Creator is too complicated to make by hand economically, of course on the other hand if it turns out to be a big hit fuzzbox-millionaire-maker I can invest in some development time to simplify the wiring....I am an out of work manufacturing/process engineer after all, so that is right up my alley. The Creator is kind of the total of everything you could possibly do to add adjustability to an f'rite circuit... something I had done as an experiment but instead I'm putting it out for sale. Actually there are two more things that COULD be added but there are already too many knobs and switches! There is a teaser video below showing off one of the settings. A longer demo video is in the works.

Despite any internal delays in getting new production listed, rest assured that once a product is listed in the online stores it is on hand here and ready to go and will ship the next business day. You will get it as soon as the USPS can get it to you.
